Project Manager – Commodity Center

If you are looking for the next step in your career with Kirby Risk, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager – Commodities at the Commodity Center in Indianapolis!
What will I do as a Project Manager?

In this position, you will manage day-to-day requests and inquiries of commodities for construction projects, from quotation to final billing for contractor customers, to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction. Negotiate the best price, quality, and shipping and production schedules in a timely and accurate manner. Identify and resolve inefficiencies and offer cost-saving initiatives.

Getting customer requests accurately processed in a short amount of time while upselling value add solutions

• Reviewing and processing internal and external day-to-day quotes/orders in Solar Eclipse
• Working with Account Managers on quoting and managing large conduit and wire projects
• Establishing and maintaining a working relationship with key vendors and with key customers
• Recognizing and promoting value add solutions, when applicable
• Occasional travel to branch events and customer visits with Account Managers when directed by Supervisor

Primary Requirements

• Able to work within a team atmosphere – Team Spirit
• Product knowledge (wire and conduit)
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills
• Detail oriented in a fast-flow work environment
• Excellent work ethic

Nice to have: Experience with Solar Eclipse and Excel

What is the schedule?

• Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Overtime as needed and approved ahead of time
• Minimal travel
