The Project Manager manages projects from LOI/PO receipt to final punch list and ensures expectations of our internal stakeholders are met, as well as meeting and exceeding the expectations of our external stakeholders. The Project Manager is the main contact for internal customers during the build process, facilitates countermeasures when issues arise, and provides assistance throughout the warranty period. The Project Manager ensures all phases meet their allotted time frame.

Responsibilities

  • Meets delivery targets and cost targets; works with Purchasing on procuring parts that meet cost and delivery expectations; provides work order information to other departments, monitors progress in production and supports logistics (install, freight and sales).
  • Manages all external & internal communications surrounding projects.
  • Initiates custom fabrication workflow process and follows established standard operating procedures.
  • Enters orders and assists with producing work orders with full method of manufacturing.
  • Answers questions and gives direction to drafting/engineering when applicable.
  • Reviews drawings and coordinates customer sign off and approval process.
  • Monitors project schedule and quality of outputs to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Maintains communication with engineering and production to help head off any production delays or design issues to ensure project timeline and product specifications are met.
  • Maintain records of project tracking and project documentation.
  • Maintain change order records and any price changes throughout the project duration.
  • Initiates shipping and delivery processes. Works directly with logistics on ship dates, items to ship, contacts, and any other particular information needed to deliver products to customer in a safe cost-effective manor while maintaining product quality.
  • Assists external customers with questions before and during install.
  • Travels to job sites for coordination meetings.
  • Troubleshoots any field issues and manages the build of custom replacement parts.
  • Invoices all fabricated items, changes orders, and assists Accounting with any invoice issues.
  • This position will stand or sitting for long periods of time, walking 3-4miles per day (between office and shop floor); Extended CPU usage; office/manufacturing work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required (supervision, quality, planning, engineering, design, customer service).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management Experience in a custom manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Foodservice within the Hospitality Industry preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree (business, marketing, sales, project management).
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and ERP-based programs.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and Architectural Prints.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-starting, analytical, problem solver, decision making.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.

Pay: $72,719.00 - $79,998.00 per year
