The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of capital projects across multiple sites within The Duckhorn Portfolio. This role will manage a variety of projects supporting all aspects of company operations, including retail/hospitality, winemaking, bottling/packaging, and vineyards.

What we will ask you to do:

  • Plan, Budget, Monitor and Report the project with the use of various project management tools
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of capital projects to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget.
  • Accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed through the project lifecycle. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving company’s goals and achieving their vision.
  • Collaborate with various department stakeholders to conceive projects that achieve the strategic goals of the organization, with an emphasis on improving safety, quality, operational costs and reducing risk.
  • Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project.
  • Professionally estimate future project costs to assist in capital expenditure planning with well-defined scope of work, rough timeline, determine what work will be contracted through detailed scoping documents.
  • Daily responsibilities include aligning projects with business objectives, constructed detailed work plans, coordinate teams, achieving milestones, and communicating the results to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project teams, including internal subject-matter experts, external consultants, and contractors for flawless execution of multiple projects.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, or related fields
  • 5+ years of project and/or construction management experience
  • Excellent communication skills – both formal and informal, with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
