Marsh Affinity is seeking Project Management Leader. Remote work within US is an option. Desired locations include, but are not limited to Des Moines IA, Seattle WA, Phoenix AZ, Columbus Ohio.

Affinity insurance provides policies unique to the members of the group. By pooling together risk, participants are able to reduce the costs of coverage.

These insurance schemes are formed when a group of individuals or entities come together to jointly own a captive insurance company. For organizations or individuals who lack the resources to create their own captive, a group scheme offers minimized risk, increased coverage, and lower costs.

By creating a program specific to your own group, your organization is able to build a customizable plan that offers the solutions to risk areas that more generic policies likely will not address.

What can you expect:

  • Overall responsibility for the development and execution of project management best practices supporting critical initiatives and complex program implementations
  • Strongly provide individual leadership for the most critical and strategic projects
  • Lead and develop a team of dedicated PMO professionals in achieving client and internal goals
  • Drive enablement of long-term strategic planning both client facing and internally
  • Responsible supporting strong client relationships, for meeting client expectations, maintaining scope of delivery within SOW
  • Manages scope and change control process across client

  • Superior project management expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking
  • Strong management skills, leading by example to grow and elevate team members
  • Industry background in insurance highly preferred (underwriting, brokerage, commercial lines, product management)
  • Ability to influence and direct cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Highly collaborative work style with ability to work in a team environment & independently
  • Hands-on experience leading project delivery in an Agile environment
  • People skills with experience in attracting, coaching, and mentoring teams
  • Strong ability to paint an inspiring vision and bring others along on the journey
  • Customer centric mindset

What you need to have:

  • 5 to 7 years of direct project and client management experience, preferably with large, complex clients
  • 5 to 7 years of experience developing direct reports
  • Commercial Insurance Experience Required
  • Background or experience within building/developing complex programs

The applicable base salary range for this role is $116,500 to $248,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
