Our Enterprise Performance organization has an immediate opportunity for a mid-career level Project Engineer to join our mission. Enterprise Performance (EP) is a Major Functional Organization (MFO) within Lockheed Martin Space Operations and is responsible for Enterprise Value Realization (EVR) across the Space portfolio. We will transform our business by:

As our Project Engineer, you will...
  • Assist with One LM Transformation (ILMX) plans and implementation to enable our company to deliver
  • Assess program and IRAD reviews, plans, and metrics to determine when support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) is needed to be successful
  • Support enterprise performance routines for our business area auch as Program Management Council Internal Research and Development (PMC IRAD) reviews and/or Teaming Agreements

Our employees working in this level of position typically have 9-15 years of experience.

This position can be worked out of any of the following locations:
  • Sunnyvale, CA
  • Littleton, CO
  • King of Prussia, PA

Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near one of the facilities listed above and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience working in, or with, two major organizational functions which may include Engineering, Subcontracts, Planning, Production, Finance, and/or Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements or new technology to reduce cost / schedule or increase quality
  • Due to programs being supported, United States citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
  • Prior Earned Value Management experience
  • Experience in three of the following functions: Program Management, Subcontract Program Management, Operations, Systems Engineering, or Engineering & Technology
  • Prior Agile experience
  • Experience interfacing with internal stakeholders (i.e. Executive Leadership Team, Functional Leadership)
  • Ability to lead reviews (i.e. PMC IRAD, Make/Buy)
  • Ability to manage through complex environments and ambiguity
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
