FCL Builders is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer with recent educational background in Construction Management. This position allows individuals new to our industry to be part of the project team from day one; working alongside Project Managers.

Position Summary:

Desired skills and experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.

· One plus years of experience in the construction industry and/or significant internship experience.

· OSHA 30 Hour content training or in process.

· SWPPP Training or in process.

· LEED Certification if applicable

· Ability to manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.

Familiarity with Construction software programs such as CMIC, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

Overall Responsibilities:

· Assist in managing the construction and activities associated with the operations of a commercial construction project in conjunction with the Project Manager.

· Assist in bringing the project to completion on schedule, within budget, and per the project specifications.

· Provide administrative support for change order process.

· Assist in permit process.

· Adhere to all safety, quality, and SWPPP control policies.

· Collaborate with Project Manager in preparing a construction schedule.

· Develop and strengthen client relations.

· Understand cost estimates for various trades and materials.

· Review with Project Manager project costs to ensure project is kept within budget.

· Ensure compliance with bond and insurance requirements.

· Maintain subcontractor relations.

· Manage assigned projects under the direction of the Project Manager.

· Perform additional assignments per client or management direction.
