Position Summary
In this role, you will perform project planning, project schedule development, and maintenance, and project administration for large-scale, commercial infrastructure improvement and construction programs. Development of detailed baseline schedules and coordination with project stakeholders to gain an overall understanding of each project. You will analyze schedule information and provide project teams with cost and schedule reports and recommend corrective action to ensure projects meet required service dates and budget limitations. You will coordinate with project team stakeholders and client departmental leaders. You will coordinate with internal and external client organizations to interpret and plan resource needs, obtain project information, and meet reporting needs. You will prepare ongoing schedule actual progress updates. You will forecast applicable planned and completion dates. You will conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 software. You will analyze the impact of change orders on baseline schedules. You will be reviewing and consolidating existing project schedules into a program schedule. You will be reporting on schedule slippage, providing variance reports, and closing out project schedules. You will be advising the client on program schedule performance and related needs.

Multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.

Position Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor – Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or closely related technical field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.
  • Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Scheduling or Controls Engineer, or in a related construction industry scheduling or project control role.
  • Experience must include:
  • 1. CPM scheduling using Oracle Primavera P6.
  • 2. Schedule analysis and reporting.
  • 3. Project controls, cost management, cost analysis, and reporting.

Additional Requirements
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
