Position – Program Manager - Outpatient

We are seeking a Program Manager for our PHP/IOP programs who is invested in the care of outpatient treatment clients and is able to provide daily client and clinical support. Our programs consist of substance use primary tracks and mental health primary tracks.

The following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities:

• Facilitate substance abuse psychoeducation groups.
• Complete concise and timely clinical notes.
• Conduct the intake process for new admits.
• Attend weekly clinical team meetings.
• Track monthly intakes and discharges.
• Serve as clinical virtual office manager.
• Assist therapists with additional needs for clients (i.e., case management).
• Coordinate with after-hours staff to ensure continuum of client care.
• Maintain attendance in program.
• Provide emotional support to clients by responding to all questions and concerns.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma/GED

· 1 year of experience working in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred

• Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)
• Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient charting, medical necessity
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Empathy and the ability to work with people in distress
• Preferred: Certifications such as Case Manager, Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Peer Support Specialist, or college level course work around psychology or social work.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Salt Lake City, UT 84124: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• facilitating substance abuse psychoeducation groups: 1 year (Preferred)
• substance abuse and/or mental health support: 1 year (Preferred)
