This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of the Mission Extenders program within Shared Services, in partnership with the VP of the Providence Mission Leadership Institute. The Mission Extenders program is a strategic initiative within the Providence Mission Leadership Institute, to serve the needs of Caregivers within Shared Services. The institute was launched in 2021 to offer whole-person development, preparing leaders who skillfully integrate an organization’s Mission and values into every sacred encounter with patients, families, Caregivers and the community.

Direct responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing program management of the Mission Extenders program, oversight of heritage and caregiver recognition celebrations, guiding strategic planning work, and providing metric development and analysis for Mission initiatives in Shared Services. Furthermore, the Program Manager will serve as an essential communication conduit with executive and senior leaders in the ongoing formation and Mission integration process. Additionally, the Program Manager will assist the Senior Program Manager with coordinating and contracting as it pertains to guest speakers, podcasts, video productions, publications, social media posts, and learning management systems. This position is remote and can sit from any Providence approved location in the US.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years relevant experience as a project manager, program coordinator, and/or learning specialist.
  • Experience leveraging seasoned, extensive level of knowledge related to a variety of learning development, event planning/execution, and learning program administration roles and responsibilities including the skill and ability to design, plan, prioritize, complete assignments in an independent and quality manner, and interact with a wide range of individuals and groups involved in the organization’s governance and leadership.
  • Demonstrated successful project management, learning program coordination, event planning, and/or work supporting governance boards.
  • Experience in a high production, deadline-oriented, professional work environment requiring multi-tasking, flexibility, attention to detail, and self-directed work.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Other useful experience includes: demonstrated successful experience with program, conference, and/or event coordination and planning; fluency with online publishing, blogs, social media; demonstrated successful experience as an executive assistant.
