SUMMARY

Preting LLC, a Cherokee Nation Business LLC, is seeking a dynamic, solution-oriented leader responsible for the operational management and business growth opportunities within assigned contract(s) or sector. The Program Manager will be required to provide support in the creation of contract operational plans and budgets while ensuring assigned project teams meet or exceed operational and contract goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Supports Operations General Manager by identifying, proposing, and reporting progress on new business opportunities.
  • Ensures performance on contracted efforts by executing approved plans, controlling and reporting progress relative to the established contract cost, schedule, and quality standards, and following project management standards.
  • Maintains continuous and effective communication with the customer organization to obtain a common understanding of their expectations.
  • Manages and performs direct contract financial functions including budgeting, purchasing, travel, payment approval, invoicing, and receivable controls.
  • Takes a leadership role in the accomplishment of the Sector’s vision and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Directs and performs program personnel functions including staffing, performance and salary reviews, and personnel development.
  • Recommends personnel actions to Operations General Manager for approval, including job offers, promotions, bonuses, pay changes, and disciplinary actions when required by corporate policy.
  • Monitors labor, material, and sub-contract costs and budgets.
  • Makes regular site visits for the purposes of work progress status.
  • Delivers each awarded contract on time and within budget.
  • Ensures all contract deliverables are completely and accurately accomplished and submitted on or ahead of schedule.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Actively manages successful re-capture efforts.
  • Develops future leaders for the company through mentorship, training and affording team the opportunities to take on leadership roles.
  • Directs efforts, conduct interviews, and makes staffing decisions to maintain support to client organizations.
  • Directs the contract activities of company and subcontract staff supporting multiple Department of Defense and Intelligence Community Agencies, managing contract performance, deliverables, and financials.
  • Provides program management support across project lifecycles throughout the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Leads complex projects across numerous client sites and offices that require significant coordination on scheduling, risk management and delivering staffing to meet client requirements.
  • Manages Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M) program execution in line with project parameters; reviews deliverables and ensures deadlines are met. Leads monthly and quarterly program reviews with senior client leaders.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Supervise/manage a department and provide input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree is required

Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience with leading multiple projects simultaneously is required.

  • Knowledge and understanding of current organizational practices and programs.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in utilized software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP certification is strongly desired
  • Ability to set priorities and work in a group environment or independently.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check
  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Travel will be required.
