Are you goal driven? Then the Program Coordinator/Advisor position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

As the Program Coordinator/Advisor, you will act as the point of contact for the Jobs League Grant at SLATE and provide excellent customer service to internal and external participants. You will oversee participant files, ensure participant confidentiality and ensure contract regulations are adhered to on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Successful Elements:
  • Ensure team and program resources are being utilized appropriately
  • Establish professional working relationships with partners and community organizations
  • Maintain accurate participant tracking information
  • Attend required meetings and apprise team of discussions held at these meetings
  • Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
  • Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues
  • Communicate with team members to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestions
  • Analyze and understand labor market information
  • Report directly to the Workforce Programs Coordinator and communicate performance, successes and challenges during weekly check-ins
  • Manage relationships with community partners, services providers, and workplace partners.
  • Ensure team member compliance with contract goals and Jobs League regulations and guidelines
  • Monitor team performance and report outcomes to the Board
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Experience and Education:
  • Skills and experience in providing career and workforce development assistance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have notable experience in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
  • Prior demonstrated ability in the essential functions listed above
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree and three years of work experience in case management/human services or related experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
