Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator collaborates with analytics leadership and team members to manage intake, complete initial program and scope requirements, and provide workflow oversight for analytics, reporting project requests and program implementations. The Program Coordinator is capable of managing the analytic team’s backlog and workflow, monitoring the team’s execution of projects within the constraints of tools, schedule and scope while minimizing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies; and in ensuring customer expectations align with scope, deliverables and timelines. The Program Coordinator receives intake standards, general direction and guidance from the analytic team leadership and program manager, and works day-to-day with limited supervision or instructions. The Program Coordinator collaborates with requesters from across Dignity Health MSO and the analytics team members to manage intake, complete initial project/program requirements, and provide workflow oversight for analytics and reporting project requests.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Coordinates analytics team projects and programs throughout the life cycle, initiation through closure.
  • Leads team in establishing initial requirements to enable assignment to team resources and required project and program documentation that identifies the timeline for completion, analytic resources required, and proper documentation within our workflow management tool; revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Works with requesters/customers, analytic team members to ensure request scope, tasks, deliverables, assignment, and requirements are explicitly defined, documented, communicated and maintained within our workflow management tool.
  • Provides status reports and team KPIs to analytic team leadership. Quickly escalates to leadership any issues that will negatively affect the analyst team or ability to deliver reporting.
  • Leads daily stand up meetings to review sprint progress. Identify any blockers, needs, or successes within stand ups and escalate to leadership or other departments as needed to help resolve.
  • Identifies and assigns team resources required to fulfill requests and execute program scope(s), collaborating with other team members or departments to determine which resources are available. Identifies dependencies on other departments and helps to coordinate resources if needed.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes and makes recommendations for possible solutions.
  • Meets regularly with leadership to provide summaries of workload and ensure alignment with overall department strategies and processes.
  • Ensures project/program documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately within the team’s workflow management software and Google Drive folders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of project/program management/coordination experience managing/coordinating projects/programs.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps and Google Drive and Mail. Microsoft Office applications; Project, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare, or other related business environment coordinating projects across multiple lines of business preferred.
  • Process improvement and/or experience working with project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or other related field preferred.

A compensation range of $42,000 to $70,000 is the reasonable estimate that CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
