Providing care to individuals with mental and physical disabilities in their home and in the community. We provide staffing in their home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Including meal prep, bathing, dressing, toileting and medication administration.
Care-Edison, LLC. provides all necessary training. Applicant must be mature, dependable, energetic and compassionate. Current CPR 1st aid and MAT training desired but the right candidate will be assisted with getting certified.
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check and must be 18 years of age.

Job Description:

  • Interviewing, supervising and scheduling staff.
  • Assisting in the developing, preparation, and monitoring of individuals served plan of care according to the guidelines of the developmental and / or finding, and according to the needs of the individual served.
  • Maintains productive and professional relationships with service recipient families, co-workers, state, and federal case management personnel
  • Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timely submittal of all required documentation and reports
  • Assisting in scheduling individuals served specific training and in maintaining documentation of such trainings. Reviews and prepare time sheets for payroll while addressing any issues with time reporting accuracy.
  • Audits homes to make sure that required documentation is occurring and that proper forms are available
  • Participate actively in hiring staff in their perspective home assignment.
  • Coordinating and arranging appointments and meetings.
  • Ensuring that all policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines are followed.

Qualifications/Experience/Job Knowledge

  • PC experience in serving individuals with disabilities is a plus but not necessary .
  • Experience in supervising staff, monitoring budgets, and following licensing and regulatory guidelines is a plus but not necessary.
  • Needs a clear understanding of administrative procedures.
  • Needs an understanding of guidelines for individuals served receiving Supported Living, Assisted Living, or In-Home Waiver Services.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7, Office 2010 applications and aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.
