Must be Safe, On-time, Customer Service Focused. Driver will pickup and drop off passengers at the airport and other locations throughout Arizona like homes, hotels and businesses. No CDL required. Drivers receive tips on the reservation and cash tips; hourly equivalent pay including tips on the reservation, cash tips, and bonuses ranges from $16 to $40 per hour both ways; some drivers with excellent reviews make consistently more than that. $20 per hour is driving a car like a Lincoln MKZ. $30 per hour is driving an SUV like a Lincoln Navigator. $40 per hour is driving a shuttle like a Mercedes Sprinter. Drivers start out by driving cars and move up to SUVs and Shuttles by getting 5 Star Reviews.

Must be Flexible either part time or full time with different schedules. Starting and ending hours will vary everyday based on rides scheduled with customers and your availability.

Dress Code - Collared shirt required for men like a dress shirt or polo. Nice looking tennis shoes and jeans are okay, or dress pants and dress shoes. No flip flops, t-shirts, sweat pants, dirty, ripped jeans, damaged or provocative clothing. No visible tattoos or bizarre piercings. Basically, you want the customers to feel safe and happy that you are their driver.

Clean Background Required - no criminal history nationwide in the last 10 years (fingerprints required), no at fault accidents within the last 5 years, and very minimal or no traffic tickets in the last 5 years (parking doesn't matter). No exceptions. Do not apply if you have problems with your background, accidents or traffic tickets; we cannot hire you even if we wanted to. Must have a valid Arizona driver's license to work and good vision during the time you drive. Background check is free and done by the airport. Parking at the airport for the background check is also free. The airport normally has a 7-14 day turn around on getting people approved; lately they have been faster than normal. You will be issued a big placard from Ground Transportation and a security card from badging before you can pickup anyone at the airport. You may be able to do non-airport work in the interim as long as you pass a background check.

Willing and Able to Lift Bags - Must be willing and able to help customers get their bags in the trunk, and lift 50 lb items into and out of the vehicle.

Reliable Phone - Must have a smart phone with reliable service, know how to text, be able to use Google Maps or Waze for driving directions, and be responsive when contacted by dispatch.

Not Uber or Lyft - We provide the car, gas and insurance. We drive cars (Lincoln MKZ Hybrids), SUV's (Lincoln Navigators), and shuttles (Mercedes Sprinter or Ford Transit) depending on the number of passengers. You are responsible for taking cars to get car washes, oil changes and putting gas in the cars. We pay for the extra time if it's maintenance related. Car washes and gas are already included in your compensation. Pay is both ways on every trip, so it's possible to make double by taking different customers both ways.

Reliable Transportation - You must have a reliable car to get to and from work. The bus is too unreliable, especially at night. No taking work cars home without manager approval, and no using company cars or company gas to run personal errands. Jeff and Deb are the only person who can give you permission to take a car home.

Available - Looking for people who want to start as soon as possible. We are extremely busy, unlike some other companies. There may be a 1-4 week waiting period while the airport does your background check, so definitely get your fingerprints done as soon as possible. It doesn't cost anything. You may want to wait until you give notice if you are currently working, so there is no gap in pay. You can do non-airport trips until the airport approves you, just ask Jeff and Deb if you want to work ahead of time.

Ideal Candidate - Reliable, great with people, takes care of the vehicles, and has a clean driving record. Excellent people skills and a clean car is super important since about 25% of your pay comes from cash tips. People will average people skills get about $5 per hour in cash tips; some drivers with excellent people skills make $20 per hour in cash tips. This is in addition to your regular pay. Also, getting 5 star reviews will give you priority in trip assignments and get you higher than normal pay. Drivers from other companies like Super Shuttle, AZ Shuttle, Groome, ACE, Sun City, Driver Provider and My Surprise encouraged to apply.

Minimum age is 35 for insurance reasons.

Things People Like - Pay is good (about double what Uber and Lyft pays; 30-32% of total minus tax plus cash tips. Driver pays no expenses e.g. gas, insurance, maintenance, depreciation, etc.), customers are nice as long as you're on time, air conditioning, not that hard if you are consistently on time, job is flexible - can be either part time, full time, or lots of hours depending on what you want. Average full time drivers can make $1500 to $2200 every two weeks when busy before cash tips. This means they get a lot of 5 star reviews and do a lot of SUV and shuttle trips. Some drivers make $3600 every two weeks before cash tips. Lots of work available, not slow like other companies. Must be flexible on scheduling if you want to work a lot. Willing to work with you to make sure you don't go over social security income limits. We need all hours and days, but we especially need weekends and Sunday if you are available.

Things People Don't Like - Morning, lunch or evening rush hour, 1-3 hours at a time in the car, hot days, flexible (your start and end time will vary every day), have to avoid energy drinks since it may make you stop or have a bathroom accident, and occasional bad weather. Currently we are replacing all of our older vehicles with new ones, and hiring about 10 people to make sure drivers don't have to work longer hours or one their day off.
