TreeHouse Foods is currently hiring Machine Operators, Line Workers, Product Fillers, and Floater positions in our food production facility for the following 8 or 10 hour shifts:
6:00am - 2:00pm M - Fr
2:00pm - 10:00pm M - Fr
10:00pm - 6:00am M - Fr
5:00am - 3:00pm M - Th
3:00pm - 1:00am M - Th
Wages range from $18.97 - $24.36 per hour PLUS shift differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts! New hires are also eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus!
SUMMARY: Positions exist to dump ingredients into machines to keep lines running and to feed material to or from a machine or conveyor system by performing the duties listed below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include:
  • Pick up materials from pallet, hand truck, etc. and place ingredients/items into machine/hopper or onto conveyors/chutes to transfer materials
  • Pick up materials from pallet, hand truck, etc. and place ingredients into machine/hopper.
  • Stuff displays with pouches
  • Check pallets and codes for accuracy
  • Line, pad, create and assemble cartons
  • Wrap protective material around product
  • Start, stop and regulate speed of conveyor
  • Set up line equipment
  • Weigh containers, adjust quantity, and perform weight checks.
  • Label containers, container tags or products.
  • Pack special arrangements or selections of product.
  • Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of packaging process.
  • Knowledge of SAP (Inventory Control System)
  • Operate a walk-behind lift.
  • Follow schedule to run proper product
  • Clean equipment and area
  • Inspect and verify materials being used
  • Track any waste
  • Record production and review records and specification.
  • Maintain area in accordance with AIB, BRC and Haccp standards.
  • Follow safety policies and standard work procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned
In addition to the above, Operators and Floaters that are trained to Operate may also:
  • Guide line workers in work to be performed on the packaging line assigned.
  • Start, stop and regulate speed of conveyor
  • Responsible to keep equipment running
  • Responsible to follow production schedule and notify BPO/supervisor if unable
  • May perform line worker, product filler, stacker, sanitation, or material handler positions
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or general education
degree (GED) preferred. Prior manufacturing experience desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read in English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions. Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, computer scanning devices, adjustable measuring instruments. Check reports, forms, records and comparable data, where interpretation requires basic skills knowledge.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
