Main Accountabilities
- You will oversee the cold food production department. The cold food production team is responsible for plating cuisines according to the food presentation guidelines for our airline customers.
- A successful applicant will be able to work in a refrigerated environment for long periods of time.
- Your team is expected to provide on-time delivery to each aircraft while meeting all quality cleanliness standards, and have a commitment to exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- BS in related field preferred.
- Experience in food processing, grocery store produce, delicatessen, or similar industries
- Industry experience with a solid understanding of food safety, regulatory compliance, and GMP
- Proficient in Microsoft products; familiarity with payroll and scheduling software Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge required
