Our Denver, CO Beverage Plant has an opening for a Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
  • Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
  • Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
  • Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
  • Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
  • 1 of more years experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
  • Ability to manage and develop employees
  • Availability – willingness to work hours and holidays
  • Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000-$80,000 per year; starting rate will vary based on circumstances, including experience, qualifications, location and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service and hours worked, benefits include, healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
