Roberts Oxygen, a leading distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related equipment, is actively seeking a dedicated and committed Production Supervisor for our Gaithersburg, MD industrial plant location.

The ideal Production Supervisor candidate will utilize planning and supervisory skills to provide excellent customer service by coordinating cylinder filling and cylinder maintenance activities, meeting order fill rate requirements, and by ensuring excellent product quality. In this role you will proactively look for ways to improve operational safety and efficiency, and implement / update Standard Operating Procedures. The candidate will be able to provide guidance and assistance to all employees and be able to learn / perform all tasks within in our manufacturing facility. The Production Supervisor will also help in the planning and execution of equipment installation and service projects at our customer locations.

Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing 8+ people in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• Strong computer skills (fluent knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment and ability to learn new programs with little to no prior training).
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Goal orientated, well-organized and attentive to detail.
• Strong leadership and self-motivational skills, ability to work with and lead people.
• If selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
