Job description

To maximize productivity & efficiency of assembly lines, manage assembly, repairs and manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities

· Ensures that a safe work environment exists and that all team members are following safety rules and expectations.

· Sets-up the detailed production schedule (workload and operator management) for the upcoming weeks

· Supports the team organization to meet the production schedule

· Supports the team to achieve the KPI’s as determined by the head of operations.

· Supports the team in ordering and expediting materials.

· Ensures that the team manufactures according to correct work instructions.

· Identifies work instruction discrepancies and communicates required changes or proposed improvements to current work instructions

· Identifies, communicates, and supports opportunities for continuous improvement

· Identifies and communicates needs for tools, training and documentation

· Ensures that team members are working the scheduled hours and following company rules and policies.

· Maintains the work area according to KPS and 5S standards Checks and ensures the material availability for production orders and if necessary, checks and demands delivery dates from purchasing

• Reviews contract specifications, drawings, sales orders, and other project documents to understand requirements.
• Schedules and coordinates work with and of appropriate department staff so that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies.
• Drafts, develops, and implements cost-effective manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure that production is within applicable standards.
• Coordinates hardware testing with quality assurance staff.
• Prepares workforce projections and budget estimates based on a summary of labor hours and material costs for each job.
• Identifies requirements for packaging and shipping.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,563.00 - $75,000.00 per year
