Job description

Marketing Alliance Samples (MAS) is seeking a 2nd shift Production Manager to serve in a leadership capacity on the manufacturing floor of its sampling operations in Dalton, GA.

Responsibilities include:

· Documenting current processes and procedures for assigned department(s).

· Working with personnel to identify, document and implement improvements to current processes.

· Measuring/Analyzing performance of team members in assigned department(s) as it pertains to:

o Quantity of product produced vs. standard.

o Quality of product being produced.

o Adherence to manufacturing processes and procedures.

· Measuring/Analyzing performance of assigned department(s) as it pertains to:

o Safety (audits, incident rates, days lost, etc.)

o Adherence to delivery schedule.

o Production efficiency.

o Quality of items being produced.

· Assuring operators receive materials, tools, and work orders in a timely manner.

· Assuring all transactions pertaining to production labor and materials are accurate and processed in a timely manner.

· Timely reporting and documenting of pertinent variances such as – material counts, quality of materials and errors in documentation (prints, work orders, etc.)

Characteristics/Skills required to be successful in the position:

· Strong analytical and communication skills.

· Strong MS Excel skills.

· 5+ years of manufacturing experience.

· Educational background (formal or informal) in Process or Manufacturing Engineering.

· Self-motivated flexible team-player, with the persistence to following through on commitments in a timely manner.

· Ability to multi-task in fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30pm – 4:00am
