Immediate direct hire opportunity with a company in the Roseville/New Brighton area who has an 85+ year history of quality and stability. This position offers a clean and well-organized work environment and competitive benefits including medical/dental, HSA, vacation/sick time, paid holidays, 401K, Pension and OT pay for hours worked beyond 8 in a day plus great stability for the member of its maintenance team. (This means that most maintenance techs at this company receive at least one hour of OT pay each day they work.)

Candidates needed for an immediate opening on either second (Monday through Fridays from 2:00pm to 11:00pm) or third shift (Monday through Fridays from 11:00pm to 7:30am) for General Line Maintenance Technician. The responsibilities of the position cover a wide variety of tasks including:

• Set up, maintain, shut down and drain packaging machines according to production schedule
• Monitor production equipment; troubleshoot and repair all machinery as needed
• Monitor and perform all scheduled maintenance functions along with scheduled daily work orders when not busy with breakdowns
• Perform weekly machine inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC as needed

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally with packaging equipment and/or a minimum 2 year Associates degree in a related field. Skill set must include strong industrial electrical experience and working with PLC's and other electrical controls and have demonstrated solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.

Pre-employment screening will include a physical, drug test and background check.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
