A Snapshot of Your Day:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the areaSupervisor, Team Lead, and Production Scheduler with assuring all the necessarymaterial, is available for the mechanics to carry out the production plan.Ownership of SAP material requirements and requisition creation for ensuringmaterial and tooling readiness for manufacturing execution. Other dutiesinclude but not limited to, loading, and unloading of trucks, process and storeincoming and outgoing material; clean, organize and maintain storage area andtools; QN and SN status of material.

  • Understanding of machining, welding, andassembly processes. The mechanical aptitude and ability to understand theassembly process to be able to plan efficiently.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel,etc.). MRP experience and use of SAP is required for this role. Forkliftoperator’s certification required. Must be able to obtain RadiationCertification and “B” Crane licenseUnderstanding of business financials.
  • Six sigma or continuous improvement training isa nice to have but what is needed is good problem-solving abilities.
  • Accustomed to making impromptu decisions toallocate production resources that impact customer delivery.
  • Working knowledge of MRP and Quality Controlsystems.
  • Excellent experience with computers andMicrosoft Office software.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in lieu of education will beconsidered for the right candidate.
