This is an entry level operations position, and a good introduction to the world of manufacturing. Working together with our team of production managers, the Production Coordinator makes sure everything on the manufacturing floor keeps moving. You will help us build and maintain our production schedules and provide the drawings and work instructions our fabricators and artisans use to create world-class lighting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Printing and delivery of drawing packets to production floor.
• Basic scheduling and work order creation.
• Tracking orders and identifying potential problems.
• Monitor inventory levels of key materials and place restocking orders when necessary.
• Order and finish paint, metal, and glass samples.
• Communicate with managers and peers in manufacturing, sales, and other areas about order status.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Outlook)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment helpful

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Will be on manufacturing floor prone to loud noises and varying temperatures.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
