Job Title: Production Associate 2 2nd Shift

Position Reports to: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly $17.05-17.60

• This is a permanent, full-time position that is eligible for enrollment in company benefits after 60 days and 40 hours Vacation time after 90 days
• 4:00 pm – 1:00 am Monday – Friday January – April
• 4:00 pm – 2:00 am Monday - Saturday May- December

Requirements, Expectations & Work Conditions:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Willing to work in an industrial environment and highly regulated food industry

Production line associates clean, cut, inspect, package and label commodities from the raw stage through final product while maintaining a clean and contaminant free worksite. Applicable department/area of responsibility training to be completed and maintained.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

• Serve the needs of customers and all stake holders
• Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policy
• Performs floor cleaning in raw or finished goods area using a shovel, squeegee, and broom
• Perform sorting for any defects and foreign material in raw or finished goods area
• Trimming stems and tops from produce
• Placing liners in cardboard totes
• Ensure product is labeled correctly
• Follow SOP and safety standards
• Follow GMP rules and Federal and State regulations
• Able to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
• Distribute product evenly into dicer
• Remove waste bins using manual pallet jack
• Assemble totes for finished product
• Able to stack 28 pound pails of puree
• Scale operator
• Unload peas into hopper by using mechanical hydraulic lifts
• Knowledge of calibration verification of IQF scales
• Assist with setting up breaking down equipment
