Our client, a national professional services firm, is looking for a Product Quality Control Analyst/Laboratory Technician to join their team on a 9-month contract. The position will be onsite five days a week, and will be providing customer service and support to our external stakeholders. As a Product Quality Control Analyst, the successful candidate will play a key role in escalating customer feedback and ensuring product quality.

Requirements:

  • An associates degree from an accredited two-tear college or technical school, or the educational equivalent (i.e. technical certification), obtained in an area of life sciences.
  • Background in Health or Life Sciences field is preferred
  • Basic vocational skills training - spelling, grammar, math, etc.

Job Description:
The Product Quality Control Analyst will interact with complainants to obtain essential information required to document technical complaints.

  • Provides customer servuces and support to meet the needs of customers/complainants
  • Identifies and confirms inquiries as product technical complaints
  • Evaluates complaints for severity and risk to public safety
  • Escalates complaints identified as critical complaints to appropriate stakeholders, including but not limited to the manufacturing site QA, regulatory team, supply chain team, and commercial team
  • Monitors and tracks sample receipt from critical complaints
  • Ensures timely review and processing of complaints
  • Monitors complaint activity for assigned manufacturing sites
  • Performs QC checks
  • Understands FDA complain regulations for drug products and medical devices
  • Completes and distributes monthly complaint activity reporting to assigned manufacturing sites
  • Identifies and reports adverse events within one day to Pharmacovigilance team
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting internal and external stakeholders during audit processes
