The Product Marketing Analyst is responsible for gathering and assessing qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competitive intelligence aimed at increasing competitiveness and organizational profitability. The role collaborates cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing to collect and analyze data to gather insights into target markets, industry trends, macro- and micro-economic conditions, channel trends/data, and the company's competitors.

What YOU will be doing:

• Identify opportunities for new client acquisition and market/channel expansion
• Guide our future product roadmap with research backed insights
• Support product positioning in the marketplace and targeted go-to-market strategies
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, and audit of large datasets, relying on well-structured procedures and maintaining reproducibility of results.
• Combine existing data in new ways. Cleanse and enrich data to make it more powerful. Pioneer new ways to analyze and visualize data.
• Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits, and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand
• Deliver insights through spreadsheets, pivot tables, and slide presentations that include both conceptual analysis and quantitative findings.
• Develop an understanding of company products and competition
• Collaborate with external research agencies and partners
• Collect data on competitors’ marketing tactics, product attributes, USPs, pricing and product/service distribution
• Advise other marketing team members as the knowledge owner for customer and market data
• Support the product marketing team in the development of battlecards, collateral, product, persona, and industry targeted web pages, FAQs, and other sales enablement assets.

Success will come if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or a graduate degree is a plus
• 1-3 years of work experience in product marketing, marketing research, statistical or data analysis
• Experience in the Payroll or in the HRIS/HCM industry is a plus
• Experience with data management platforms and visualization tools
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong statistical foundation
• Expertise in converting complex data findings into tables, graphs and/or data visualizations
