ABOUT THIS ROLE
B-Stock is a company led by design and data. In this role, we are looking for a Product Manager who can work with Core Product, Engineering, Product Analytics, Marketing & Design teams, and help B-Stock make strategic growth decisions.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
You will…

• Build empathy:

• Build a deep understanding of our customers, why they come to B-Stock and their journey from before signing up to becoming an active customer. Deeply understand the needs of our customers through quantitative and qualitative research.
• Passionately represent the voice of the customer, actively work on increasing dependability of B-Stock and happiness of our customers.

• Execute:

• Get hands on with data by working closely with product analysts to identify and understand funnel drop offs, and user behavior. Conduct experiments, user research, direct customer observation, user feedback, and analytics to identify and improve our funnel.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, requirements and user stories to explain the scope and nature of the work to be done to ensure clear communication and coordination with business, design and development teams
• Partner and lead cross functional scrum teams with Core PM, data, design, engineering, support and marketing to bring ideas to market

• Calculate return-on-investment (ROI):

• Understand and report on the direct revenue implications of product decisions.
• Make tradeoff decisions based on technical, business insights, and experimentation.

• Develop and deliver an experimentation roadmap:

• Work with Business Leaders responsible for acquisition, onboarding, retention, and engagement to identify hypotheses.
• Define key metrics to measure feature success or failure of experimentation
• Identify product improvements and new product features for hypothesis testing by working closely with other departments
• Own experiments and create clear mechanisms to test and forecast the feasibility and success of going forward with a given initiative

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical depth that allows you to communicate with, understand, and earn the respect of world-class engineers and data scientists
• Design thinking and customer-centric approach to building, experimenting, and iterating products
• Experience in experimentation and hypothesis development & testing and driving meaningful insights from experiments and user research, direct customer observation, user feedback, and market research
• Ownership mentality
• Biased for Action. Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
• Ability to engage in respectful debate and arrive at "win-win" decisions
• Passion for marketplace products, the future of work, and building for impact worldwide
• Knowledge of agile product development and lifecycle management process.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years product management or related experience
• BS or MS in Computer Science strongly preferred
