Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience working in product design engineering or a related field.
- Experience designing mechanical components (e.g., plastic/metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, etc.).
- Experience using computer-aided design tools (e.g., NX, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in consumer product design.
- Experience shipping multiple consumer products.
- Experience with multiple manufacturing methods used in consumer products.
- Experience working with suppliers globally on part manufacturing and final assembly, including onsite factory support.
- Experience with system integration, including electro-mechanical components (e.g., audio, display, camera, antenna, etc.), waterproofing, thermals, grounding, and/or product architecture.
- Understanding of NX.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$173,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design a moderately complex subsystem and/or multiple individual parts from concept to production.
- Collaborate with suppliers of subsystems and/or individual parts throughout the design and manufacturing process.
- Identify the root cause of design, manufacturing, or reliability issues and develop corrective actions.
