Netflix is in search of an experienced contracts manager to join the Netflix Product Legal team primarily handling a wide array of transactional deal work and operational responsibilities related to our Open Connect and Partnership businesses, based in our Los Gatos Office.
The primary business partners for this role are the Open Connect product team responsible for our global content delivery network that delivers Netflix shows, movies and games to our members world-wide and the UCAN Partnerships business development team responsible for driving membership acquisition and engagement through collaborations with payTV operators, internet service providers, consumer electronic manufacturers and other distribution partners located in the US and Canada.

Job Responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate complex procurement contracts in support of our content delivery network and operations including MSAs, service orders, hardware and utility purchases, and logistics related purchases;
- Review and draft business partnership agreements with payTV operators, internet service providers, consumer electronic manufacturers, and other distribution partners encompassing device integrations, distribution via partner sales channels, and payment integrations;
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams and business partners in a collaborative manner to support all aspects of the business;
- Create and maintain information resources for business partners;
- Optimize and manage contract templates, repositories, and workflow systems; and
- Provide general operational support to the Product Legal team.
Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a transactional paralegal or contracts manager in-house or at a law firm;
- Substantial experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, with a passion for drafting contract language that is clear and precise and with attention to detail;
- Subject-matter expertise in video content distribution partnerships or internet network infrastructure, including related knowledge of data privacy and security frameworks, is a plus for this role;
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing;
- Experience working with contract database systems and/or workflow systems, with preference for operational support of these systems;
- Strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment and constant curiosity to learn about how we operate our business and the markets we serve in order to develop innovative solutions;
- Ability to work proactively, nimbly and independently under tight time-frames in a fast-paced environment;
- Willingness to tackle new subjects and take on special projects as the need arises.
