Wildwood Health Institute is looking at hiring a Produce and Stock Officer for our Natural Food Market.
Requirements:
- Valid US driver’s license
- Able to drive a small commercial truck
- Able to lift 50lbs bags
- Proficient in English
- US Citizen, Permanent Resident or valid work permit
Skills/experience:
- Basic knowledge of business to be able to decide produce’s price of sale
- Basic knowledge of computer to able to use our system to input costs, price, generate invoices, etc.
- Basic knowledge of produce to be able to buy it
- Organizations skills to be able to take care of the stock room, organize the produce in the front of the store, prepare the store’s shopping list of produce
Main duties:
- Purchase Produce and goods (as requested by the Procurement manager) for the Store, Diet Kitchen and Student Café or other departments.
- Dispatch the orders to the Kitchens (Diet Kitchen and Student Cafe)
- Restock the store’s produce shelves
- Input kitchen orders on the system
- Receive New Deliveries in Loading bay
- Restock the refrigerators, freezers, coolers and store shelves
- Purchase goods at Stores in Chattanooga as requested by Procurement Manager
General duties:
- Help at the register as needed
- Help the Procurement Officer resolve stock related issues
- See that freezers, coolers and stock rooms are neat and organized
- Ensure that the garbage in the store is emptied every day
- Assist in performing duties as requested by the Store Manager
Other Requirements:
- Member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing with the church
