Job description
We are hiring a Procurement Specialist to find and order inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a list of items needed by the company, comparing product specifications, and finding suppliers. Our Procurement Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with our vendors and keeping an updated inventory list.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors.
- Be available for emergencies and consult with other staff on the best way to proceed.
- Solve problems related to vendor performance and supply issues.
- Be knowledgeable about federal, state, and local procurement policies and regulations and the purchasing requirements of the organization.
- Be knowledgeable about contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
- Negotiate prices with vendors.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
