See Yourself as a Procurement and Vendor Management Analyst

The Procurement and Vendor Management (PVM) Analyst will support miscellaneous procurement and vendor risk management activities including, but not limited to, data management related to procurement activities (data feed monitoring/updates, purchase orders and vendor information maintenance in Oracle), due diligence, on-boarding, maintenance, risk-based monitoring, issue remediation and termination of vendor relationships. The PVM Analyst will also perform quality control activities and assist with the compilation of the function’s regular reporting.

See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop strong working relationships with sourcing managers, vendor managers and Business Unit staff to analyze and support sourcing opportunities and events

  • Manage vendor onboarding, (e.g. sending contract templates, registering new vendors and assigning internal categorization data, etc.)

  • Support and lead less complex vendor negotiations and general contract administration activities such as NDAs, company profiling, change orders and amendment to SOWs, etc.

  • Triage inbound requisitions

  • Perform quality controls validations of due diligence assessments and contracting events including but not limited to validating contracts are fully executed and properly stored in appropriate systems, review of risk ranking overrides, engagement with vendors and risk acceptance to determine appropriateness

  • Maintain and update vendor repository as appropriate to ensure accurate and complete data (e.g. inactive vendors cleanup, removal of terminated vendors, designation of payees vs. traditional vendors, etc.)

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent

Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of Finance and/or Procurement, knowledge of Oracle Financials and/or Navex Global's NAVEX IRM or related systems preferred

  • Experience with vendor risk governance, vendor assessments and issues management

  • Competent in dealing with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to coordinate, collect and interpret information

  • Experience with development various reports (e.g. aggregated view of performance metrics vs. drill down into select vendors), an ability to identify quality trends and improvement opportunities

  • Proficient in the use of Excel (e.g. pivot tables and VLOOKUP formulas, etc.)

Your Preferred Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Your Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience
