About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Utility Processor. This position is the first step in a rewarding career in financial services. You'll learn about payment processing, and the financial services industry. Lockbox is a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline driven production environment working behind the scenes with little, if any, customer contact.

As a Utility Processor, you will review, prioritize, and distribute daily work to meet deadlines and goals; monitor work in progress making adjustments as needed; train staff; adapt to scheduling issues, including absences and tardiness and provide input to managers on staff performance. Other duties may include: opening, receiving, logging, batching, scanning, preparing and distributing incoming and/or outgoing mail, as well as, data entry and routine math calculations. The Utility Processor role ensures the work is completed on time and accurately by planning, coordinating and monitoring the daily activities of the routine to moderately complex work of less senior roles.

The successful Utility Processor, will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures, and basic computer knowledge. They have the desire and motivation to constantly improve their ability to perform each function quickly and accurately. The working environment is fun with a casual dress code in a highly secure facility.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the workflow of tasks to ensure processing is completed timely, accurately and deadlines are met.
• Perform moderately complex operations duties
• Collect data and prepare related operational reports
• Utilize proprietary system applications
• Provide guidance and training on operations function

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
• Coordinate, prioritize and ensure completion of multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and goals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
• Lockbox experience
• 10-key numerical data entry experience, a plus

Job Expectations:

• Ability to work additional hours as needed based on business needs
• Schedule flexibility to work some bank holidays as needed based on business need
• Ability to lift 10+ pounds

Work Schedule:

• Sunday-Thursday 6:00 am - 2:30pm
