Our firm is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting on process data to ensure that operating parameters are met and to ensure that the current process design is both safe and profitable.

Duties Include:

• Project planning and coordination
• Plant operating data collection
• Sample collection including gas and liquid samples from process streams
• Data interpretation, including the use of simulation models
• Preparation of reports
• Participation in internal R&D and method development

Requirements

• B.Sc in Chemical or Processing Engineering
• Working knowledge of Amine Treating Systems is a plus
• Working knowledge of Sulphur Recovery System is a plus
• Working knowlwdge of Gas Processing and Strong Analytical Skills is a plus

Extensive travel including international travel is required and candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to obtain a passport. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial setting and will be required to obtain a variety of safety certifications (paid for by Sulphur Experts) including First Aid, Basic Plus, SCBA Fit Test, Confined Space Entry etc. In addition, participation in a drug and alcohol testing program is required.

Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry or in an industrial setting is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
