Process Engineer

Duration/Status: Direct Hire Staff
Location: southeast of Greater New Orleans, LA region
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day - all days at Site office (remote/hybrid schedule NOT AN OPTION)

Our Client is currently searching for an Process Engineer to join their team at their Facility located southeast of the Greater New Orleans, LA region. The selected individual will be supporting Operations, Maintenance and Engineering groups. This role will be part of the team responsible administering the plant management program, ensuring plant operations remain program compliant and with safe, reliable and cost effective.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Candidate will develop knowledge and understanding of the company engineering management program
• Develop competency for engineering software tools and databases
• Support additional integrity initiatives as needed (e.g. pipelines, marine facility)
• Support with the Management of Change (MOC) process
• Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process
• Support development and tracking of appropriate Key Performance Indicators
• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to Operations Groups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline (e.g. Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
• 5+ years’ experience working as an Engineer in a process plant or petrochemical/refinery environment
• Experience in Process Engineering preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite
• Familiarity with ASME, API and NACE/AMPP recommended practices preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

• Belle Chasse, LA: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Experience:

• process engineering: 4 years (Required)
• plant/petrochemical: 4 years (Required)
• ASME, API, and NACE: 4 years (Preferred)
