JAG Healthcare Union City is seeking a PRN Speech & Language Pathologist (Speech Therapist) in Union City, OH. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of dedicated healthcare professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care!
JAG Healthcare Union City is a 43 bed skilled nursing facility specializing in the care of residents with cognitive deficit disorders with a special attention to those with Geri-Psych and Memory Care needs. We are looking for staff members that are committed to exceptional patient care and continuous quality improvement! Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to)
- Evaluate Residents conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits
- Help Residents in their goals to improve Cognition or Swallowing
- Education for Residents and Caregivers
- Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
- Maintain Resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Contributes to team effort
- Documentation of assessments and sessions
