As a provider, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. Our clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, starting at 8 AM and the last new patient scheduled at 5:30pm. This position does not have a guaranteed number of hours each pay period. As a PRN you will fill-in for our full-time Provider for absences and vacations.

Responsibilities:

• Function independently to perform appropriate history and physical for complex acute and chronically ill patients
• Prescribe appropriate treatment modalities.
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Provide care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Promote good health practices.
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research.
• Act as a clinical resource, utilizing both formal and informal opportunities to educate other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional licensure, DEA registration (as applicable), certification and practice agreements as required by the Board of Medicine or the Board of Nursing, national certification organizations, and the institution (in state of practice)
• Participate in/present at NIVA Health meetings

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid nurse practitioner license (Master’s degree; PhD is a plus)
• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting (Background in Regenerative Medicine is a plus)

Physical Demands:

• Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking/bending/stooping.
• Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
