The Capital One Software team is exploring how these internal solutions across cloud, data, governance, and applications could serve the needs of other companies born or built in the cloud.
As a Principal Go To Market Operations Specialist supporting Capital One Software, you will enable productivity and scale across the GTM organization. Core responsibilities include executing against key business processes, driving simple solutions that scale, and automating operational processes. Successful candidates will have a passion for driving operational excellence, enabling sales productivity, and identifying and addressing productivity bottlenecks.
In this role you will operate autonomously, have a keen eye for detail, execute, and monitor critical process points, mitigate risk, and effectively partner with stakeholders.
The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas including various levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must effectively manage their time, learn quickly, and balance competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Sales Lead routing and assignment
Customer Compliance checks
Account segmentation and territory assignment
Identify and contribute to key support systems/processes that enable us to meet business objectives
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance our processes, controls, and validations
Driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes
Develop and maintain formal process documentation, including procedures and process flow
Effectively partner with GTM stakeholders, including Sales, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in sales, operations, finance, consulting, or account management
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, or Finance at a SaaS or technology company
2+ years of experience leveraging Salesforce or similar CRM technologies
Ability to execute and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies
Extensive knowledge in one or more functional areas such as Sales Operations, Sales Productivity, or Planning
Ability to collaborate with different business functions in a matrix environment
Ability to conduct complex analysis that translates to actionable insights, results, and/or productivity improvements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
2+ years of Continual Improvement experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City: $100,481 - $118,545 for Principal Process Manager
San Francisco, California: $106,444 - $125,580 for Principal Process Manager
Remote roles in other areas of New York & California, and across Colorado & Washington:
$85,173 - $100,485 for Principal Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
