To support our growing customer base, we need DevOps lead engineers who can design state-of-the-art software systems, guide the development team during implementation, solve complex deployment problems, and keep our system operating in top shape with proper non function requirements covered.

As a DevOps lead on the core R&D team you will provide technical leadership and architecture guidance to remote and local teams to drive AWS deployment and infrastructure management. You will help mentor junior developers to code with quality while doing hands-on development

Our Cloud Applications team builds IOT, Bigdata systems, and Web Portals that are the backbone for therapy that make a real difference in how people live their lives every day. Our systems are truly “the core” that powers our business’ clinical studies, data analytics and customer-facing applications.

A Day in the Life

• Lead a team of DevOps Engineers responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our AWS infrastructure
• Manage and monitor the AWS infrastructure, including security, backups, disaster recovery, and performance
• Ensure futuristic thinking, reliability, scalability and maintainability of design
• Guide team development efforts toward successful project delivery.
• Design and implement AWS architecture using best practices, including security, scalability, and reliability
• Build and maintain a strong observability platform
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the infrastructure is optimized for performance , meets the needs of our applications and tuned for cost efficiency
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
• Design, and develop systems in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between systems.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
• Determines systems software design requirements.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
• Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences or technology with 8+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years of experience with a master’s degree

Nice to Have :

• Experience in architecting cloud-based systems at scale
• Experience in AWS DevOps technologies
• Experience in CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experinace in AWS CI/CD technologies and tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy
• Proficiency in Java/Phyton
• Experience containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, K8
• Prior experience in leading remote teams.
• Experience in software design and prototyping
• Complete software lifecycle experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skill AWS lift and shift
• Healthcare domain
