Description

This position supports competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals. The Pricing Analyst analyzes data from multiple sources, develops complex pricing models, and collaborates with sales and marketing to develop sales strategies. This position has accountability for administering and maintaining pricing booklets in the system of record.

• Analyzes pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, competitor considerations, and recommends price points to decision-makers
• Analyzes profitability of pricing agreements and recommends actions
• Audits, managers, and enters pricing books into system of record
• Identifies ideal pricing structures and sales funnels
• Applies statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
• Recommends pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identifies new market segments
• Forecasts revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and sales volumes
• Collaborates with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies
• Develops dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends
• Prepares and presents reports and pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field.
• 2-3 years' experience in pricing analysis
• In-depth applied knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Experience analyzing pricing strategies, forecasting revenue and market shares, and collaborating with sales and marketing departments.
• Experience with data mining software; experience with business intelligence (BI) preferred.
• Strong demonstration of analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention-to-detail.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization as well as internal and external partners.
• Expert Microsoft excel and MS Office skills
• In-depth knowledge and use-capability in Oracle, SalesForce.com, and CRM experience preferred
• Fully applies oneself to the requirements of the position
