Job description
Assists staff with the assessment and management of cases with complex needs and special issues, such as defendants that also may require drug/alcohol and/or behavioral/mental health treatment and/or individuals who have demonstrated an elevated risk for failing to appear in court. The incumbent will support pretrial services administration in the development of best practices in pretrial justice prior to and after initial appearance hearings.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, or a related field, and two years of work experience in a pretrial services function or a related community corrections field. Or any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources.
Preference will be given to applicants with direct work experience working community services providers or in a social services work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.57 - $26.75 per hour
