• Provides support in the assessment and development of pretrial release options available to pretrial staff and judges in the setting of bail/release conditions.
• Assists in the development of treatment-assisted supervision case planning and assists in the evaluations of drug/alcohol and behavioral/mental health treatment programs.
• Acts as a resource for a variety of specialized areas such as, but not limited to, drug and alcohol treatment, behavioral/mental health treatment, location monitoring, and other internal and external resources aimed at mitigating pretrial risk.
• Assists with the training and implementation of specialized release service programs and assists in the evaluation of the effectiveness of these programs.
• Acts as a resource for pretrial services officers and assists in the assessment and determination of bail and/or supervision conditions.
• Develops and evaluates community resource agencies essential to the treatment of defendants.
• Assists in the development and finalization of agency protocol related to bail conditions and the monitoring of bail conditions.
• Acts as a liaison between the community service providers, the court and defendants.

Typically performs duties in an office environment and may lift materials and/or equipment 20 lbs or less.

Retirement Plan participation is mandatory for all eligible employees to include a mandatory pre-tax pay deduction. July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023, the deduction for Retirement Pension & Health Insurance Benefit is 12.03% and Long Term Disability Income Plan 0.14% to constitute a total of 12.17% deduction.

Education Reimburement Program: The program will provide up to $5,250 per calendar year towards the cost of tuition, required books, registration fees, and laboratory fees. The Employee's lifetime maximum benefit would be for reimbursement of one Bachelor's degree and one Master's degree.
