The position of Presales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer serves as an integral piece of the sales cycle. Our engineering SMEs own the technical aspects of the sales cycle to achieve the technical “Win” for the customer. A significant portion of your job responsibilities include coordinating with sales reps, customers, and/or partners as part of developing technical solutions.

This is a remote work position in that the work does not require you to come into the office. Geography does play a role in candidate selection relative to potential travel to customer locations. Ideal candidates are in the eastern 1/3 of the US.”

Other duties include

• Attending sales meetings
• Leading technical discussions
• Performing technology demonstrations
• Attaining and maintain applicable technical certifications
• 20%-30% travel

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Willingness to permit a background check
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Desire and ability to learn new COTS technologies
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Passion to hustle and have fun
• Ability to articulate solutions concepts to a variety of technical/non-technical audiences
• 5 to 10+ years combined experience in InfoSec, IT Operations, Networking teams or Sales Engineering
• A reasonable sense of humor

Desired Qualifications

• Administrative or operational expertise with one or more technologies on our line card
• Some experience across Splunk, Gigamon, Palo Alto Networks, Infoblox, CrowdStrike, or Zscaler
• Some Network or System administration
• Programing language experience the likes of python, perl, etc
