Funeral Family Service Sales Counselor
We are seeking to fill in a few positions as soon as possible. The Family Service Pre-Need Counselor is a person who is energetic, ambitious, and sets high goals.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Sales Manager, and Director of Family Service. The Pre-Need Counselor is accountable for serving client families by making Pre-Need Funeral arrangements. The Family Service Sales Counselor serves families by providing exemplary personalized service and care for families. Additionally, the Family Services Counselor is required to make follow-up calls in a pro-active manner to provide assistance to families, secure additional sales and generate referrals.

Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

1. Responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly Pre-Need sales goals.

2. Execute sales of property, commodities, and interment services to families at time of need.

3. Prepares for all appointments and performs all procedures with professionalism and attention to detail.

4. Effectively communicate with mortuaries and families via personal contact, telephone, and online; both in office and/or in home, as necessary.

5. Follows through on all contracts, customer concerns, and requests.

6. Builds trust-based relationships to earn the right to ask for referrals.

7. Earns the right to gain referrals to offer protection to protect family members, family’s relatives and friends, by educating them on the benefits of pre-planning.

8. Develop a professional and respectful rapport with area mortuaries, memorial manufacturers, and vendors.

9. Maintain good relations with internal and external customers at Inglewood Park Cemetery and its affiliated companies.

Special Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish is required,

Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal relations skills and excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and to be detail-minded

Ability to work a flex schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays Ability to multi-task and set priorities

• Funeral or Cemetery: 2 years (Preferred)
