Roles & Responsibilities:

The Raj laboratory in the Departments of Neuroscience and Genetics and Genomic Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) in New York City is looking for multiple motivated researchers to join our team as Postdoctoral Scholars to work on NIH-funded research in computational genomics and statistical genetics. This multidisciplinary project is a collaboration with members of the Ronald M. Loeb Center for Alzheimer’s Disease, Dr. David Knowles of the New York Genome Center and will be part of the National Institute on Aging’s Alzheimer’s Disease Sequence Project (ADSP) consortium. The project will involve the development and application of deep learning, network and causal inference methods to large-scale whole genome and transcriptome sequencing data with the aim of identifying the genetic variants, regulatory elements, genes, pathways and cell-types involved in AD pathogenesis.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,661.00 - $60,788.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
