The Post Trade & Digital (PT&D) Technology team have an opening for a DevOps engineer to support across the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Reconciliations businesses. We are an Agile team responsible for the technology that supports the Operations business from client onboarding and maintenance through to confirmations, payments, settlements and reconciliations. We are also transforming the way we work so as to build high performing squads that support our product vision. We are looking for T Shaped people – DevOps engineers that have competencies in all aspects of support and engineering, including testing/QA, back-end development, integration, SQL and DevOps. Your passion for technology innovation will allow you to harness emerging technology trends and to deliver solutions to our clients in an efficient and agile manner.
We anticipate to excel in this role you will ideally have:
- Experience supporting front, back or middle office applications and stakeholders
- Experience in Cloud based technologies such as with AWS as Cloud Compute
- Scripting knowledge such as Bash
- RDS including MSSQL, Postgres and Oracle
- SQL knowledge and understanding of data concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Bonus for any of the following:
- Experience with Fenergo (or similar KYC/AML systems) or TLM (or similar reconciliations systems)
- Java or C# knowledge
- Working with any of the following technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Elastic Search, Docker/Kubernetes
- Working with JBoss, IIS or other web servers
- KYC and AML regulatory domains
- Experience with data migration and big data
