Porsche of Wichita is hiring a technician to add to their service department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a highly specialized and enthusiast level automobile. We are looking for a skilled technician capable of advanced level diagnostics and repairs on complex vehicles. Brand knowledge is preferred but not required. We are open to past experiences and certifications with BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Volvo, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Tesla or any other European manufacturer.

You'll Make an Impact by:

• Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Fully examine assigned vehicle to determine vehicles needs including customers original reason for service, additional maintenance, or addition repairs needed
• Diagnose any and all concerns with the vehicle and repair to Porsche specifications
• Communicate with service advisor and or service manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Road test vehicles when required to ensure duplication of concerns, and ultimately complete repair of vehicles
• Understand, keeps abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins, recalls, other pertinent OEM information
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager to obtain certifications and re-certifications

We're Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of advanced automotive systems and diagnostics
• High level of understanding of automotive wiring, infotainment systems, and vehicle safety systems
• Automotive Certifications, OEM or ASE preferred
• 5+ years of experience with automotive diagnostics
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, lower, push, leverage, and manipulate equipment and/or items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be reliable, have a good work ethic and work well with a team
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
