COMPANY OVERVIEW

Vesta Property Services provides property management and related services to developers of planned unit communities and residential associations. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Vesta offices are strategically located throughout the Sunshine State. Vesta employs over 1,500 trained and educated professionals providing a wide spectrum of services to residents of more than 300,000 homes in over 800 communities.

SUMMARY

Pool monitors work on the pool deck and help enforce the rules of the facility. They are not lifeguards and do not hold any certifications. Monitors work in the adult only facility and attendants work where there are families with children.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following:

• Pool attendant/monitors are in charge of the pool deck and residents.
• Good customer service skills are needed.
• Attendant/Monitors are responsible for straightening of all pool furniture, helping with trash, enforcing rules, opening and closing duties as well as making sure all forms and supplies are always stocked.
• Staff may also be required to sign residents/guests in when needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is performed in outdoor weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to chemicals and fumes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves continually during working hours; is subject to lifting over 50 pounds.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma.
• Prior experience.
