Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Drive, Jefferson City, MO; however, hybrid-remote work agreement can be considered after successful onboarding.

If you join our mission-driven team, you will have a supportive role in providing nutrition assistance to Missouri’s children and vulnerable adults by working with the Summer Food Service Program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. You will be a valued associate who will assist the Policy, Project, and Training Coordinator in developing, revising, and distributing the policy and training materials for these USDA programs. You will also assist with special projects when assigned. This position requires excellent organization and computer skills, as well as creativity and initiative. What you’ll do:

  • Assist in the development, revision, and proofreading of program manuals, forms, training materials, and webpages.
  • Coordinate the typesetting and printing of forms and manuals.
  • Organize and maintain spreadsheets and records of policy, project, and training materials.
  • Maintain inventory records of the bureau equipment.
  • Assist with the coordination and approval of Food Service Management Contracts.
  • Assist with special projects for the bureau.
  • Assist with answering phone calls for the bureau.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Substitutions may be allowed)

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, as well as web-based application programs
