Point of Sale Attendant (Farmstead)
Job description
The City of Overland Park has part-time and temporary Point-of-Sale Attendant positions available at the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead.
Responsibilities : Works at and waits on customers at the revenue areas at the Farmstead: concession stands, ice cream parlor, general store, fishing and pony rides, wagon rides, mining and ticket booths. Serves items to customers, collects fees and enters information and cash or credit card into point-of-sale (POS) system.
Requirements : Basic education in eight grade levels. This is an entry-level position. No previous experience is required. No City residency requirement.
Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
Normal Work Hours: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; work days to be determined by supervisor to cover 7 day operation. Applicant must have weekday availability. The Farmstead is open from April 1 to November 1.
Rate of Pay: $10.00/hr.-$12.00/hr.
